The fieldbus
standard requires busses to be terminated at both ends. In
many applications, one terminator is built in to the power
conditioner, which is usually located near to the control
system.
The second terminator is either integrated
into the Megablock wiring components or added in the form
of a separate DIN-rail mounted unit.
Terminators are clearly marked with a large
'T' making them easy to identify in-situ.
