F809F Fieldbus Diagnostics Module The F809F Fieldbus diagnostics module is designed for use with the F800 and F6x8D series Fieldbus power supplies or using the F8x8 termination board detailed below. The module simply mounts onto the appropriate carrier and continuously monitors the performance of each of the eight fieldbus segments providing information on network health. The physical layer is critical to the performance of the fieldbus system. During commissioning, the F809F collects data on the performance of the physical layer, provides alarms if any parameter is outside the preset limits, and is used to store a baseline segment performance within the system's Instrument Management Software.
