| Use
the MTL660 displays to view process variables
in hazardous and safe plant areas. All versions are loop-powered
from 4–20mA signals.
Applications
These indicators are loop powered and the low voltage drop
across the input terminals allows them to be installed in
almost any 2-wire, 4-20mA loop. Alternatively, they may be
used, for example, for the re-transmission of mass/flow computations
from the safe area, through a suitable MTL IS interface to
the indicator in the safe area. All units can indicate measurements
in either a linear or square root extraction mode, the latter
being used, for example, to display directly the flow from
differential pressure measurements using an orifice plate,
Dall tube, or venturi.
Large liquid crystal
displays make the process variables easily visible
at a distance. Process units are configured into the display
area. Instant readout of percentage or loop current is available
at the push of a button.
Field mounting units
are housed in a rugged aluminium IP67, NEMA 4X case. ABS and
GRP options are available for highly corrosive atmospheres. |
